19th August 2021 marks the day all Noodle Shack-er have been fully vaccinated with 2 doses of either Pfizer or Sinovac vaccine. It’s been a long wait….
Even though we might not be able to see the future with any certainty, can’t help but to look back on 18th March 2020, a day we come to the realization that this is not happening in the news, this is happening.
At first, we naively thought it’s going to be a matter of weeks, then weeks became months and months became don’t dream of going back to anywhere close to where we used to be unless we reach herd immunity. We sincerely hope other provinces will get enough vaccine supplies without any disruption.
We felt relieved every time we saw a teammate getting their jab. We thank them for standing strong with discipline, waiting patiently for their appointment to appear on their MySejahtera app. We are dealing with takeaway customers and delivery riders every day, it’s a risky job after all. Can’t just stay home for the past 17 months either, we simply can’t afford it….
So 19th August 2021 is the day, of all days, we felt strongly to thanks our teammates once again. Thank you for hanging in there, thank you for being with us.
